I had the opportunity to photograph at club Aces formally known as the " Shadow Bar ", on February 2, 2013. The club is located in Hamtramck, MI but it had been shut down for 2 years and this was the grand opening! Luckily, we had decent weather which made it a good turn out.
I'm not much of a club person but the women that were working and serving drinks made my job easier by posing and being in the right places at the right time.
This was my second time photographing at a club, so I was lucky to have a lens with a wide aperture with a powerful flash to make my photos "pop". I was glad to work in a fast pace environment because it taught me to quickly operate my camera. (I'm not sure what you know about cameras but adjusting the ISO is as critical as shifting gears when you're drag racing. It just makes for a better photo.)
I put up a few images of the night so people can see what you'll be getting yourself into by coming out on a Saturday night.
